BCH Vehicle Management
BCH was founded in 1958 as a vehicle contract hire and leasing company. Associated products and services included contract purchase, economy contracts, fleet management and personal leasing.
In 1995 Montagu led and arranged a £140 million (€225 million)
financing for the management buyout of Bryan Contract Hire
('BCH').

Corporate and personal products are supported by a range of
services including accident management, short term car rental and
fuel cards. The company has a fleet of approximately 8,500
vehicles.
In 1997, following a competitive tendering process, BCH
appointed HSBC Investment Bank to arrange for the successful
listing of its shares on the London Stock Exchange.
Montagu seeks the best quotes for every aspect of advice
required on a transaction. In this case it was able to introduce
the resources of the HSBC Group to provide a broad range of
financial services to the investee company.
